What is This Product Configurator and How Do I Get Started?
This configurator helps you select all the components to meet your specific application needs for a Panduit Automatic cable tie installation Tool (PAT) system. The configurator takes you through each step necessary to develop a complete bill of material (BOM). The BOM includes your specific cable tie and tooling requirements which can be submitted to Panduit to develop your quotation.

Start by indicating the specific cable tie that is required for your project. Stay on one maximum bundle size / cable tie type and complete the entire process to the BOM before moving to a different maximum bundle size / cable tie type.

Consider including the Data Interface (-DI) option for monitoring the operation of the system online. The Ethernet-enabled dispenser provides a physical connection between the PAT system and an industrial Ethernet network via an RJ45 connection and internal Ethernet card.

Panduit's exclusive Data Manager© software provides:

  • The capability to measure and track production performance such as job tracking, cycle counts, tool and dispenser serial numbers, and routine maintenance
  • The ability to send e-mail notifications for specific system messages
  • Data extraction and reporting capabilities on system performance through an exportable electronic log; helps identify operator training needs
  • Ability to monitor alerts from remote desktop locations

We recommend the PL283N1 Air Filter/Regulator and the PDH10-37 Air Supply Hose as they are sized appropriately with the air pressure and volume requirements of the PAT system.

We recommend that 0.82 in (21mm) and 1.31 in (33mm) max bundle size PAT systems (PAT 1 and PAT 1.5) that are being integrated into robotic systems include the PATM-TT Test Tool with Rubber Jaws in order to protect the jaws of the PAT tool while setting up robotic installations.
